We recently wrote about TfL’s consultation to make permanent some current temporary 20mph speed limits and introduce new 20mph limits on major roads in the vicinity of the Hyde Park Estate. TfL have now confirmed that this proposal is going ahead. The proposal also includes new 20mph speed limits on Park Lane southbound, Marylebone Road and Edgware Road north of the Westway, as well as making permanent the 20mph speed limit on Park Lane northbound and the 30mph limit currently in place on the Westway.
