HyPER invites all residents of the Hyde Park Estate to a “town hall” meeting with our newly elected Labour Councillors: Md Shamsed Chowdhury, Paul Dimoldenberg and Judith Southern.
It’s very early days, with the new Westminster Council administration still taking shape, but HyPER and our new Hyde Park Estate Ward Councillors want to hear about your hopes, aspirations, concerns and priorities for the immediate future and the coming four years.
It may be a simple question, like what’s happening about noise, rat-running, fly-tipping or cycle lanes? It maybe about how they intend to make our communities cleaner and safer. Or you may want to ask about housing policy, policing or town planning?
Whatever is on your mind, we want to hear from you. Come and make your voice heard. The incoming local administration has promised a “residents first” approach but what does that actually mean?
There’s much talk about empowering residents and working together with the Council, but what can we all do to make our communities better places for ourselves and our children?
Whether you want to come and listen or to speak out and hold the Council to account, please come along.
The meeting is taking place on Monday 27th June at St John’s Church Hall. Come and meet fellow residents from 6:30pm ahead of a 7:00pm meeting start.
