A POSITIVE VOICE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE HYDE PARK ESTATE

Updated planning application for Portsea Mews

Some time ago we wrote about the proposals to redevelop Portsea Mews, an area which is currently in a poor state of repair and attracting a lot of antisocial behaviour.

After some objections to the height of the previously-proposed development, the newly-submitted application reduces the height back to its current level and moves a small amount of facilities into a basement instead.

As per the previous application, this updated application will be a mixed residential and business development, and will include a new entrance from Porchester Place, which we hope will bring more footfall into Connaught Village.

Comments on the planning application can be made on the Council’s website.
