HyPER will work with all residents to create a sense of community in the Hyde Park Estate, based on the principles of respect, inclusivity and good citizenship. Membership will be free and open to all residents of the estate. We will co-ordinate our activities with Westminster Council, the Paddington Neighbourhood Forum, Business Improvement Districts including local businesses and the Church Commissioners, in order to make our neighbourhood a cleaner, greener, healthier and safer place. We will achieve this by working to reduce through-traffic, to create more paved spaces such as piazzas, and to enrich the neighbourhood with family-friendly events. It is a strategic priority of HyPER to work in close consultation with the Council’s planning department to review planning applications, discuss amongst HyPER’s membership and feed back to the council HyPER’s official position on all relevant planning applications.
