Village in Green is a series of events and activities to celebrate the Hyde Park Estate and the opening of the new Connaught Village Green, which will coincide with the weekend of London Open Gardens (7th and 8th June).
More details of this will be announced in the coming weeks, but as part the event’s planning, passionate gardeners are being sought within the Hyde Park Estate to highlight the various ways in which plants, gardens and green spaces improve our lives.
Whether you have a garden, some stunning pots in mews space, a balcony adorned with plants, or a collection of houseplants, the Church Commissioners want to hear from you. Your green space doesn’t need to be grand; we welcome all types of gardens, big or small.
Some of the submissions will be featured on the Connaught Village social channels as well as some potential exciting media opportunities.
If you are interested in participating, please share a few words yourself and your garden, and include any photos you would like to showcase. These can just be smartphone snaps, to help build the potential. If selected, we’d come round and take additional photos for publication.
