Connaught Square is offering the local community the excellent opportunity to attend its performance next week of Shakespeare’s “All’s Well That Ends Well”.
The Square last hosted Shakespeare in the Squares in 2019 and is very excited to have the troupe back again next Tuesday June 18th from 7pm – 9pm with a short interval.
A performance is promised ‘with a fairytale twist and gypsy swing music’, which is pitched specifically to be accessible to all ages.
Buchanan’s, our fabulous local cheesemonger, are offering a Shakespeare in the Square picnic arrangement, available in the store until 6 o’clock that day.
Ticket holders will be admitted from 5.30 pm, so please arrive at the garden early to mingle with neighbours and friends before the play starts. Seating will be provided, but feel free to bring your picnic blankets and enjoy the pre-performance atmosphere. Entry is via the west gate only.
This has always been a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together and enjoy a lovely evening of entertainment. It is hoped this year will be the same.
