Tablescaping classes
In addition to the free event on 10th June, Hazel Gardiner will also be running classes later in June.
Hazel will be teaching all her tips & tricks for bringing tables to life on Thurs 15th and Wed 28th June from 6-8pm. Classes on these dates can be booked using Eventbrite. These tickets are a significant discount from the usual cost of these classes of £150 – £200.
Hazel’s career began in the fashion departments of the UK’s national newspapers and women’s lifestyle titles. Following a pivotal life moment Hazel changed direction and developed a detailed knowledge of flowers and the impact they can have on life both in the home and commercially. With this seed planted, she resurfaced a lifelong love and natural intuition for gardening, floristry, and horticulture. Hazel retrained in 2016 and launched her namesake floral design studio shortly after. Beyond the studio, Hazel is a speaker, broadcaster, writer and content creator while also being recognised as a thought-leader in the horticulture space.
Flower painting classes

In addition to the free event on 10th June, Carol Maxwell will also be running additional classes.
Carol Maxwell, Founder of design studio Max Made Me will be hosting two flower painting free art classes on Tues 20th June and Thurs 6th July from 6-8pm. Classes on these dates can be booked on the Max Made Me website.
Having had a successful career as a textile designer, Max Made Me was founded by Carol Maxwell while on maternity leave with her first son Max. She found herself itching to draw all his new toys and baby gifts and started playing around with illustration, trying them out as greeting cards. Throughout her 21 year long career, Carol has painted stunning florals in a variety of mediums & styles for both her own brand and in her former life as print designer for fashions brands.
Cheese and wine pairings

In addition to the cheese tasting on 10th June, Buchanans Cheesemonger will be opening their favourite wines for the summer and offering them for tasting along with matching cheeses.
