- Wednesday 1st October: Discover the Delights of Vermouth
Too often misunderstood or relegated only to use in cocktails, Buchanans can’t wait to share their love of vermouth and new selection of interesting bottles with you. White, red and orange; from dry and herbaceous to sweet and spiced, there’s so much to discover. Buchanans will lay on a plentiful aperitivo of snacks and bring up a selection of cheese from the maturing rooms to enjoy, and explore some delicious pairings. Cost £55 (book in the shop or online). - Thursday 23rd October: Autumn Wine & Cheese
Join Buchanans for an informal walk-around tasting where they’ll guide you through eight wines that are perfect for drinking this autumn. There will be a selection of delicious cheese from the cellars to enjoy alongside. It’s the perfect opportunity to taste some interesting bottles and discover something new. Cost £35 (book in the shop or online). - Tuesday 4th November: the Wonderful Story of Sherry
Coinciding with International Sherry Week, Buchanans will be celebrating the variety and versatility of this terrific tipple. Come along for an evening discovering the many faces of sherry, with plenty of Spanish-inspired aperitivo snacks. And of course, there’ll be a selection of cheese from the maturing rooms to enjoy and perhaps find some new favourite matches. Cost £55 (book in the shop or online). - Thursday 20th November: Beaujolais: Nouveau & Beyond
The third Thursday of November is an exciting date for wine lovers: le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé! Come and crack open a few bottles of this young, lively red wine with us to celebrate the new vintage. Explore beyond the new too, with a mini tasting of three other Beaujolais Crus from the region, alongside a selection of cheese. Cost £20 (book in the shop or online). - Wednesday 3rd December: Christmas Wine & Cheese
Come along for a fun evening to kick off the party season. This is a walk-around tasting where you can taste eight wines that we’ve chosen with convivial dining and festive parties in mind, including some special treats for Christmas. Plus you can test out your dream cheeseboard with a variety of cheese to tuck into while you enjoy the wine. Cost £45 (book in the shop or online).
