A POSITIVE VOICE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE HYDE PARK ESTATE

TfL commence Park Lane walking and cycling consultation

Transport for London has launched a consultation on the changes they made to help people cycle, walk and use the bus on Park Lane. These included the creation of a cycle and bus lane and a reduction in the number of general motor traffic lanes. A number of changes have been made over the last 2 years, most recently being the reinstatement of the coach parking. TfL want to know what effects you think the scheme will have on walking, cycling, public transport and private transport in the future. They would also like to know if you believe they should make any changes to the scheme, or if it is causing any issues that you think they should address.

You can respond by: going to haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/park-lane; emailing haveyoursay@tfl.gov.uk; or by writing by Freepost to ‘TfL Have your Say’. If you would like to receive information about the consultation through the post, call 020 3054 6037 and quote ‘Park Lane’ when recording your message.

TfL are also hosting one-on-one ‘Community Conversations’ with local people who have questions about the scheme. These conversations will last 15 minutes and are intended only for people who need to talk to them about a question they have before they can submit a response to the consultation.
