The Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens need friendly volunteers for their summer visitor information kiosk at Hyde Park Corner. The season runs from April to mid-October and the main role is helping visitors navigate and enjoy the park. Almost 25,000 visitors were helped last year.
The kiosk operates Monday to Friday with two shifts each day (10 am – 1 pm and 1 pm – 4 pm), with volunteers working in pairs. Whether you want to help on a regular basis (once a week, once a fortnight) or just fill in for the odd shift, there are opportunities to suit everyone’s schedule.
